The service was excellent, presentation of the food was also excellent and the creativity and flavor was outstanding. All the food we ordered was outstanding and the crispy salmon skin roll was unique and a standout. It was slightly smoky, nicely textured and delicious. The fried tofu with bonito flakes was also a real treat.
We were hesitant to try this for a while because the corny name Sushiholic made me think it was an Americanized fast food version of sushi. Im glad we tried it out because weve been here many times and its easily the best sushi in Novato. Great service and a cozy, friendly atmosphere.
I had the Reign of Fire roll both times I went here, first for my birthday, then dragged a friend her for her birthday. It is not fire because its spicy, its the other kind of fire. It may be quite awhile before I tire of it enough to give their other selections a chance.
Love this place....everything tastes great but if all you want is flying fish roe and edamame with a cup of tea they still treat you just as well as they would if you were ordering 10 rolls and 2 bottles of sake
